Sketchtravel is over!

L'aventure Sketchtravel arrivant à son terme avec l'annonce du prestigieux et dernier contributeur, j'ai pensé célébrer la nouvelle en vous offrant un détail de ma contribution faite en juillet 2009. La version entière sera publiée dans l'édition en livre du carnet.



Because the Sketchtravel's journey is coming to an end with the announcement of the last (but not least) contributor , I wanted to celebrate it by giving a sneak peek at the contribution I made back in July 2009. Spirou D&D!

Un petit boulot rapide réalisé l'année dernière pour la gazette de Spirou, en tandem avec mon collègue, voisin et surtout copain Chris Garbutt sur le thème de la fantasy. Il a réalisé la double page centrale et je me suis occupé de la vague frise violassée autour.


A quick job I did last year for Spirou, with my coworker, neighbour and pal Chris Garbutt. The theme was fantasy, that's why there's a strong D&D feel to it. He did the centre spread and I did the purple crap around it. He did a nice step by step of it on his blog. Go check it people.

(Je préfère cette couleur quand même. I prefer this color.)

Moi je lis (suite et fin)

Le "Moi je lis" de février illustré par votre serviteur est en kiosque aujourd'hui.
J'ai eu environ un mois pour le faire et c'était quand même pas mal de boulot au final, mais je me suis bien amusé. Il y en a quelques unes de plus dans le magazine mais je les aime moins.




The kids magazine I illustrated is in French stores today and for february only. I had around a month to do it, which was tighter than I thought but it was a lot of fun. There are some more in the magazine but I didn't like them all.
